By taking out a maintenance contract with Autoserve, the vehicles servicing, maintenance and MOT testing costs will be covered for the duration of the contract, providing peace of mind for the driver.
When a vehicle’s service light appears or when the vehicle manufacturers guidelines indicate that a service or MOT is due, all the driver is required to do is to contact us at Autoserve to let us know, and we’ll do the rest. We’ll find the closest approved garage to their work or home address, which ever they prefer, and we’ll arrange the collection and delivery* of the vehicle or a courtesy car*. Autoserve will authorise work proposed by the garage and if any repairs are needed, which fall outside of the contract, the pre-negotiated prices will be passed to the driver before any work is completed, allowing the driver to remain in control of any extra costs which may occur.
All servicing is based upon the manufacturers guidelines and servicing schedules. This is in line with ‘fair wear and tear’ guidelines that are set by the BVRLA and is the guidance that leasing brokers and finance companies refer to. Please note, manufacturers guidelines and schedules do vary per vehicle, so your new vehicle may have a different schedule to your previous vehicle.
As part of the vehicle’s service, the Guaranteed Maintenance contract will cover but is not limited to:
– Checking the engine oil and replacing / topping up if required
– Brake pads and discs
– Fuel, oil, air and pollen filters
– Spark plugs
– Topping up Adblue
– Checking and topping up fluids such as brake fluid, engine coolant and windscreen washer fluid
– General servicing vehicle checks, including testing the battery, checking the suspension system and tyres
– Resetting the service light
At Autoserve we work with a wide range of approved BOSCH and main dealer service centres across the UK who, can collect and deliver the vehicle* or can provide the driver with a free courtesy vehicle* while their vehicle is in the garage.
Which Autoserve packages include SMR?
Our full service, maintenance and repair service is included as part of our Guaranteed Maintenance package.
Our Service, Fleet Card and Autoserve Club membership come with discounted SMR rates. If you have a Guaranteed Maintenance contract or Service card with us please complete our online booking form to request a service. Those with a Fleet or Autoserve Club membership simply need to give us a call and we’ll arrange the vehicle service at our pre-negotiated prices, saving you both time and money. Where possible we will also arrange for collection and delivery* of the vehicle or a courtesy car*.
*Please note: our courtesy car and collection and delivery service is provided by the garage on the day of your vehicle service only and is not provided by Autoserve directly. This service is subject to availability and garage discretion. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, most garages are not offering these services, this is beyond Autoserve’s control but in most cases we can offer you a drop off appointment instead.
